I've heard of a new NC record cobia being caught, weighing in at 113#. Can any one confirm this one?

Yeap,that's Lewis Boyd,an ole Kitty Hawk,planker bud of mine.. They caught several,and a 70plus lber was the SMALLEST that day!!!

All I can say without givin it away is it was caught here in Hatteras,not in OI..

That is a big stinkin' cobe. I don't know how the angler can stand after fighting that thing. I'd love to see a full-length shot.

It's these kinds of catches that may me think I live in the wrong part of the country.

what a fish. just wish we could catch cobia in the mid to upper bay on a regular basis and not by mistake.. I dont want a jumbo just a cobia
