I have a gouge in the tip of my old Tica 9-food spinning rod. The break is causing my line to break. Can I get a suggestion for the tip size I need for replacement? Thanks in advance.

Measure your top top in 64ths of an inch. Go to Mudhole and get a new one. You'll also have to measure the inside diameter of your old tip top as well. Tip tops are sold my ring size and tube size.

Simply went to the local tackle shop and has the tip replaced in about 5 min. Cost $6. I would have liked to do it myself, but I was being lazy. Thanks everyone.
