I am going to be around Rudee Inlet for the first time in a couple of weeks. How easy is it to access? Is there shore fishing? What can I expect to catch? What size tackle should I bring? Thanks in advance for any information you can share?
you can park on the north side for a buck if you are from va beach, 5 if not. i use 1 ounce inline sinkers with a flicker hook rig with cut bait, minnows, or squid. i let the current bounce it across the bottom.

the parking lot almost directly under the bridge. I'm not sure if there is a time restraint on that because i usually go down in the evening after work so it's always a buck. i show my registration since i have a PA ID and they charge a dollar.
