I'm hoping that someone can tell me where I can find a 1.1 cu. ft - 2.1 cu. ft. upright Mini Freezer? I've tried Walmart, but it would not arrive until next Thursday, which is too late. I will be staying at Spring Maid Resort, as I do yearly, however, I just found out that they no longer have the refrigerators with freezers in the rooms. So. I will be catching fish, with no means to freeze them.........not good!

I check in less than 48 hrs for a one week stay, so it's too late to change hotels. Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated!

I feel for you.

Food for thought not knowing your logistics: I just returned from fishing 3 days in PCB Florida where we load up on Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish that I smoke and store. I bought a 110 qt cooler and fill it 2/3 full of block ice that I froze up in advance. We bagged up our cleaned catch and laid it out on top of thin Styrofoam sheet that sat on top of the ice (to keep any surface freezing from occurring). I kept the cooler in the back of my F150 that I have a Topper on.

With block ice you don't get a large volume of loss through melting like you would with crushed or cube ice. I used to stop and pick up a small block of dry ice from Wally World but actually had a problem with some partial freezing (which I did not want) occurring. Gotta go start my smoker now.
