Found some time away today and headed to the refuge. Set up by 0700. SLOOOOOOW going on the out goin tide. Once the tide changed the bite was on. Pups and Blues. All hits were on frozen finger mullet and FB shrimp (orange color). Tired from running back and forth between poles.
School came in as fast as they disappeared. Kept a few larger blues everything else was short. LOTS of pups in the surf So much fun on lite tackle. IN CLOSE. NO spot. NO kings. Go getm!
