What am I looking to purchase before I buy online. Is the $30.00 annual non-resident coastal license what I need to fish the Obx? I just wanna make sure I'm not missing anything. Does that include the Sound or anything on the left side or is that considered inland?

Your Salt Water fishing license covers sounds and surf as well if you are on a private boat.
You can wait and pick up a license at either Jennette's pier or TWs. Hatteras Island, Red Drum, and Frank n Frans.. if you go to Kitty Hawk ..... Wally World..

Ok thanks. Appreciate it. Just wanted to make sure I didnt miss anything in the fine print. My ole lady just went to a state park here in va on the Potomac but needed a Maryland fishing license.....standing on va ground. Just trying to avoid any tickets.
