Got out on the pier at 10:00pm for a 10:07 hightide. Lines in the water by 10:15pm, first Croaker at 10:25pm on bloods.
We could not order better weather, temp low 70's, wind 3mph and the water was flat calm.
Master Caster and his Dad arived about 11:30pm to find I already had fish in the cooler. That put a smile on thier face's as it was sure to be a good night.
The bite stayed steady all night as did the weather. MC and his Dad left about 8:30am and I left soon after. I never got a count on thier fish but in the end I left with a loaded cooler of Spot and big Croaker.
NBP is not the madhouse it was last year or the year before. The staff has done a good job of cleaning the place up. The past seven times I've been there it's been great. No big crowds no partying and no drunks, just fisherpeople having a good time. You folks should give the place another chance and see the change yourself. IMHO your missing some of the best pier fishing on the Chesapeake Bay, bar none....Tightlines
MC with two nice Croaker

MC & Dad say hello.
Whats missing? oh, the madhouse
