The wife and I fished the pier this morning from 7:30 to about 11:30. We caught a mixed bag of Spanish mackerel, whiting, sharks, pinfish and greenbacks. Saw at least 20 Spanish mackerals coming over the rails two which were mine. Pier was pretty much packed full with tourist and fisherman. I think these Southeast winds pushing the warmer water towards the shores are causing the Good Bites fishing. Going to try to go out later depending on how heavy The Winds are

My wife said she had the best vacation ever!! I can attribute that to number one getting to the beach where she likes to walk and the great weather we had while there. I alone fished the Park pier on Friday before we left. Nothing great or fantastic but the bite was slow & steady. No Spanish either. Weather was gorgeous no matter what was caught still had a great time. The locals on the pier are fantastic, and will help out if needed. Back in New York state now and will be down in September. Tight lines and full buckets for you guys n gals. Until then.
