I am planning on going to fish the beaches, does anyone have any suggestions on reasonable accomodations for two?...any info that would help me plan my visit would be appreciated. Not set on dates yet, but I believe the best months are Sept/Oct?

Montauk can be a bit pricey but, the fishing will be WELL worth it. You could definitely get a trophy striper. The fall run will be in full swing in October and don't neglect considering late November when the herring make their run; this is the finale before the fat lady.

been looking at Hartman's or Harborside.......but like you say, for an extended stay it is expensive......there are no RV resorts nearby so I've eliminated the thought of taking my motorhome........
but, I sure want to go this year.......it's been about 15 years since I've fished there.......times going by and I don't want to regret not going.
