Only 1.5 miles from the beach? I thought most restrictions were to limit harvest further out than this.

That Damn Shearwater grounded on the beach right out infront of our house in 98. Man talk about STINK! It took the best part of two days and nights to get it off the beach. They pumped all the spoiled fish out and that screwed up the beach for a week. And forget keeping the windows open. These boats need to be stopped! The Omega Protien airforce patrols the East coast and the bays. When they spot the schools of Menhadden they send out these boats and take all the fish in a day.
