This June I'm vacationing on medway river south of Savannah. I'm a rebel and have to get off the beaten path. So I probably won't be able to just stay on the dock. What's the best shoes/footwear/equipment for walking through muddyg salt marsh? I know in Murrell's inlet there was only a few places you could get close enough to water to throw cast net without being covered in stinking black mud and very possibly loosing a sandal. If you throw net onto hidden oysters your probably getting really dirty. Waders? Muckboots? The hiking style wading boots?
