Tried to get out for rockfish opener this morning in Mathews country off Mobjack bay. Caught two in this spot on the outgoing tide last week so I was determined to get out despite the storm.
Unfortunately the ocean was half a mile inland. Cant beach fish when there's no beach. If you're on the fence about going out today maybe just watch football instead.
