Was there on early Saturday. Someone got a stripe but only 16" and tossed it back. I got a small WP . Don't has me how with a 6/0 octopus.....LOL...

The first big fish are starting to show. I ran across a guy fishing a private jetty on the Chester River who had caught a 38" striper the night before. All we need is a cold snap.

I've never been to Romancoke. It's about 6 miles further away and looks the same but what's better?

ROMANCOKE or MATAPEAKE? I know that Matapeake from last week's fishing seems dead. Maybe Sandy Point? PLO? Crap!!! Running out of places to burn my time fishing.

I picked up up four rockfish at KN. Only one keeper at 20 inches. Huge pods of bait are still there. There were some big splashes as the stripers busted through them. Biggest last night by another fisherman was a very fat 22. The fog last night was awesome

can you catch stripers at kent narrows at day or do they only bite at night

i skunked at romancoke 3 times now in the past month. i've had better luck at matapeake.
