Fished on Sunday and had a great time. Catches included
puppy drum (17-22"), blues, striper, black drum, croakers.

The puppy drum are humongous this year and put up
an awesome fight. Caught them on mummichugs and
speck rigs.

Bassn,

Mummichogs are mud minnows that you can catch
with a minnow trap in the shallows. Some people
call them killifish or gudgeons. You can look
it up on Google if you want to know such things as
their DNA sequence.

I use bread or fish head and plop the trap near
the shore next to a pier pilon.

I think bait shops like Ocean's East may have some but
I'm not sure. You might call and check.

Small striper... probably 14" but I did not measure
it before my friend put it back into the water.

Black drum was caught on shrimp. Length was 22"
and I did not weigh it.
