Fished the incoming from about 2-7pm. Nothing for a few hours then the big rod's reel started running out. Reeled in a Cownose Ray. Kicked my butt and spit the hook just as I got him on the beach. Saw a younger fellow reel one in at the same time. His broke the line on the beach and another from his group got one on the beach. Also, we caught 3 croakers.

Best thing to happen with a cow nosed ray, good fight do not have to worry about getting spined.
