Due to the wind the water level was really low today. Using shrimp and Fishbites managed a small spot and sea bass. Tossed a bass assassin the rest of the time. Hooked a speck that looked 12 to 14" before it got loose. Missed what splashed like a small striper. Lastly landed a really small speck. Haven't been catching much in the inlet and rivers since the hurricane came through.

I agree the bite has been slow in Lynnhaven. I've seen nice reports from Rudee though.

I was at ruddee yesterday on my boat trolled 4 lines everywhere was really slow. One keeper speckle trout @ 21.5 inches.Didnt really see anyone elaet hooked up at all.lots of kayaks .
