I spoke with the supplier rep to sports authority"s tackle dept yesterday(2/17) and she said they would be having a big sale on lures(especially off-shore)over the next couple of weeks as they set-up for the spring.She didn't think they would advertise and she didn't give specifics as to which particular lures would go on sale but made it sound like some really good deals were in the offing !!! Thought I would pass the info along. the R.

Check out Wal-Mart's fishing
clearance. As I recall it kicked
in in earnest March last year.

was at wal-mart over the weekend and they have a huge section just for clearance stuff..also starting to carry more of a variety of tackle,fresh and salt

Yes fishin'phil I was at the Hpt.store ,but the rep was from the company that supplies all of the Sports Aths.I would assume and hope discounts would be at all branches.I'll be on the lookout and will post when I see something.In the meanwhile I'm scoping the Walmarts. The R.
