Got there early in the AM to launch boat with my work buddy. We fished the entire lake until noon. I only caught two bass - both over 3 lbs. Fish were caught on a creature bait pitched to shoreline reeds. No other fish - or hits - for entire day. My buddy caught a couple of bluegill on bobber/worm setups.

Is this lake always so tough to fish? I fished just about everything in my box - topwater, spinnerbaits, Senko's, texas rigged worms/etc...

I know one spot that I can usually rely on to produce 1-2 bass up to ~5 lbs. Other than that it has always been very hit or miss for me with sporadic action at best. I haven't fished Lums as much as I have other ponds so there are probably some out there with better intel but I've never had great days there.
