Forecast as of 10:30 PM EST on January 16, 2003 Synopsis For Flagler Beach To Jupiter Inlet Out To 60 Nm- SynopsisA developing low pressure system will move off the mid Atlantic coast early Friday morning...dragging the strongest cold front of the season through the peninsula. Strong high pressure will build toward Florida behind the front...and move slowly across the Gulf of Mexico and over the peninsula Saturday through Monday. Forecast as of 10:30 PM EST on January 16, 2003 Cocoa Beach To Jupiter Inlet Out To 60 Nm- A Small Craft Advisory is in effect OvernightWind south 15 to 20 knots...becoming southwest 20 knots and gusty after midnight. Seas 3 feet near shore...building to near 7 feet offshore. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop in open areas. FridayWind southwest 20 to 25 knots and gusty...becoming northwest by afternoon. Seas 3 to 4 feet near shore...building up to 9 feet well offshore. Intracoastal waters becoming rough. A few showers. Friday NightWind northwest 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet...and becoming higher in the Gulf Stream. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop. SaturdayWind northwest around 15 knots. Seas subsiding to around 3 feet near shore and up to 6 feet offshore. Seas will be higher in the Gulf Stream. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop in open areas. Saturday NightWest to northwest wind increasing to 20 knots. Seas 3 feet nearshore and building up to 7 feet offshore. SundayWind northwest 20 knots...diminishing to 10 to 15 knots late. Seas 3 feet near shore and up to 7 feet offshore...subsiding late. MondayWind north to northwest around 10 knots. Seas 3 feet...and a little higher in the Gulf Stream. TuesdayWind variable 5 to 10 knots. Seas 3 to 4 feet.
