So i recently purchased a cast net and have been practicing in the backyard with it. I consider this an investment considering ill never have to buy bait again. Only problem is that i used to fish on base a majority of the times i went out. Unfortunately i no longer have access to base to fish so i am looking for a new spot where i can use my cast net and also fish for flounder. I will have my saltwater fishing license i just need to find a good location that fits the criteria. Any ideas where i can get the best of both worlds for my situation?

PM me about where you live and I can give you exact locations.

You should be able to toss your net from any of the free piers such as the Green Mile...there are flounder there but not sure if any keeper sizes. Just bring Gulp or use squid or cut bait if you don't happen to net anything. Got a minnow trap?

I have never gone to Green Mile but have seen reports for it. It would be great if someone coyld me if keeper flounder are there. What piers are free in the area? I know theres a few places i can go from shore but i dont want to go out and get skunked every time. I have a home made minnow trap from a 2 liter bottle and a V8 bottle. Havent got an actual minnow trap though. I have the live well to keep them alive though.
