Any of you ever thrown this hardbait? Surf was rough today but I had to give her a try just to taste the salt. 😎 I bought one because as you may know they look and act very real. Have absolutely minimal experience with this lure but if a fish eats mullet, don't know why they wouldn't attack it.

Yeah looks like any predator fish would hit it. Blues, Spanish, trout, redfish, a king if you're incredibly lucky. Would probably use 6-8" of wire albrighted to some fluorocarbon at that price per plug.

It's always been a little strange. I was always used to throw Rapala type baits for fresh water fish, but for years even with bait scattering every which way in the creeks, never had many strikes on hard body baits. Now, switch over to soft plastic, the fish would go crazy. Been that way ever since I was young...never quite understood it. Must be a salt water thing. :fishing:
