You guys ever try coaching the people around you? If a guy is using a small sinker and is crossing lines due to current, it cost about a $1.50 for a 3 to 4 oz sinker depending on where you shop and 10 minutes of your time. Or you can learn to cast farther so the sinker doesn't roll over top and tangle up. If it's a casting problem, watch their swing and give some pointers. A lot of the "non English" speaking folks are bilingual. Has anyone tried saying hello to them and make friends? I know it's hard for folks to meet new people but honestly it takes literally 2 min to make a friend. If you have the knowledge to have a better fishing experience, why not share it? I'm sure everyone agrees with "the good of the many outweigh the good of the few or the one"?

Crossing lines is how I met my neighbors and made new friends. Its part of fishing if everyone is elbow to elbow, especially at a pier. If you dont like it, then you should be fishing somewhere else.

Opening day I was the only person fishing for 5 hours. I managed to catch 2 average size rocks. It was boring fishing alone, so I left.

I stopped by SPSP on the way back. I wanted to see what the circus looked like. HOLY SH!T My new buddy was there saving me a spot. I didnt fish but it was fun to see the all these people come out of the woodworks trying to get a piece of the action.
