Your Crown Vic might not get you through the flooded road down to 43. From what I've read its 8-10 inchs deep in spots. Check out the park service website.
Little help...The Point foot access
I am in Nags Head, first time ever, for the week. Am wanting to hoof it out to the point to surf fish a little. NC Wildlife site is confusing to a first time visitor to the Outer Banks. I understand that it is closed.
Can anybody tell me how close I can hike to the point and what ramp might be useful. My car is a Crown Vic so I will need to park and hoof it.
