waded the duck inn side from 6-830 pm.
got two small striper about 18in. on mirro lure. Police boat pulled up an checked me and three others for license, I of course had mine, but the other three got ticketed. ouch. one guy was there when I got there said he had been catching small stripers on bloodworms.

I sure wont be fishing anywhere but the piers until I get my lisence. That sucks getting ticketed and I really do believe money gotten from lisence purchasers really helps conservation of our fish and wild life so its best not to try to cheat.

It looks like the city is making it's presence known early in the fishing season. Hope that means they will also be within eye's view if things get out of hand as they did last year. Hopefully no repeats. I think all they want is a reason to justify closing the area to shore anglers. Let's hope the hot heads don't test the waters this year.

graphx just go ahead an buy the license, its seven fifty. I can say from experience its not worth the fine. one incident made me learn my lesson. to the tune of ninety some dollars! shoot sometimes I spend 7.50 or more on lunch

I wish they would create a bill to ensure 100% of all license money would go to the outdoors instead of lining politicans pockets
Anytime big money is involved (BIG money is gathered together out of hunting/fishing liceses} someone is getting rich. Thats the way it is and always will be. I agree it would be awesome to see all money GUARANTEED to back into the conservation of wildlife, but sadly it will never be.
