Had to get out of the house due to temporary cabin fever. Went to the Lesner to fish for a bit. I fished right next to the pilot house with live finger mullet. The flounder bite was slow and they didnt seem as aggressive as usual. never landed one but lostalot

How did the beach and sandbar hold up during the blow? Was looking forward to my 4am before work wade outings during striper season and didn't want to use the gas for a recon mission.

didnt do any wading, but it looked the same. one thing that was cool I did catch a big fat sea bass, that was well beyond legal size, I would guess 2+ lbs. but I didnt have the heart to keep him with all the thawing flounder in my freezer. he musta got blown in by the storm. be careful there was a strong gas smell, along with a sheen/slick on top of the water for about 30-45 minutes
