Fish Fishing Fish Bass Recreation
Sold my bass boat before moving here 9 months ago and have spent the season learning the fishery from the shore in Litchfield/Pawleys. Grew up surf casting with my Dad at Topsail Beach NC, but it's been a number of years since doing much of it at all. I've done okay in the surf at times (some nice whiting early on, good sized bluefish around Labor Day, and a few slot reds late (my wife caught those!), a little better in the inlets (good spring flounder and several 18" to 20" specks recently) I read a lot of the posts here to help with the learning curve and have found most of the info very helpful. Feel like I at least have a feel for the basics now and wanted to jump in the mix here on the forum. Tons to learn still, but with the relocation behind me I can get down to business!

I'm glad the posts help. One of the things I like to read is how other guys catch their fish.....and I don't mind sharing either!
