So I got 2 rods at bass pro. One a breakwater graphite the other a fiberglass power plus. Both off shore brand. Casting in the park with 3 1/4 oz on each rod. Same line, reel, leader drop from tip, etc. Got about 75 yards with each so not much difference there. But on retrieve the fiberglass was like my other ones, the composite had me feeling every blade of grass. Tomorrow will be the water test.
