This may have been discussed before, and if it has just point me to the thread.

What knots do you guys use with 50-100lb line, i.e. for tying to swivels on fishfinder rigs? I tried palomars and improved clinch but they weren't holding very tight. I can snell a hook with the heavy stuff, just wondering what works best for swivels.

I have no problem with th polomar or just a regular clinch knot but have been having a heck of a time with my snells lately. Oh yeah ya prolly already know but lots of spit helps em cinch better.

Three (!) turn clinch knot -- spit on it and make sure it is tight.
To quote Lefty Kreh "If it slips it will break."
