Headed to Wise point ramp to catch tide out to the bridge but missed the outgoing current. Decided stay in the canal to look to flounder. Caught 2 shorts behind the red tower then nothing.
Looked like snapper blues were feeding in the rips but didnt try for them.
left before the storms set in and looks like rain and wind tomorrow

I just moved from Eastville to Sarasota. Last summer i tried the ramps in Oyster and found the fishing pretty good.
not a busy ramp and there’s water from a few feet deep to over 90 feet.
