Have a quantum rod that lost an eye mid stick. Got a bass pro rod to replace it. While there, ended up getting a 10' breakwater rod and a off shore angler Tightline 7000 reel. Revues were good but I'll find out next weekend. Anyone use these?

Pick up a cheap rod guide, replace it yourself ( very easy ), and you'll either have a "backup stick" or one to loan out or give to a deserving kid !

Plan on fixing it because it's my wife's favorite. The ao guide came out because the ring split. The insert is ok. Have it soldered and replied. But I have 3 people fishing with me next weekend so needed to make sure I have at least 4 good rods. Love the video. May have to get into ding some custom rods on the off season. Looks fun
