Looking to see which boat you would recommend taking my kids on for their first fishing trip. I have been eyeing these 3 boats out of OC for some bay fishing for a 3 hour trip

Miss OC Fishing
Happy Hooker
Tortuga

Anyone fished these boats or recommend one over the other?

The Tortuga, and HH are fishing the back bay. The Miss OC travels off shore.
So, my answer is, it depends.
Depends on your kids, and their ages.
But for a first trip, I would use the BayBee, or Tortuga in the bays. They are 3 or 4 hour trips, not too long, and always in sight of land. If they handle that, and want more, then use an off shore head boat.
I started my kids on bay boats when they could hold a rod over the rail, cheating by standing on the bottom rung.
35 years later, we still head offshore a couple times a year.
Start em off as young as they can handle, and you will have a fishing companion for a lifetime.

I have taken my grandkids on the BayBee in the back bay a couple of times. It is only a four hour trip and thats not so long that they loose interest. We havent caught a ton of fish, but we did catch enough to keep their interest.
