The croakers are really being caught in the area from boats and shore. I think i'm going to try around curtis creek since the water is cleaner and deeper the FT Armistead. Have anyone been around curtis creek (bay) area yet.

curtis creek is just about behind the FT armistead pk. the exit from 695 that takes you to ft smallwood rd will take you to the draw bridge. instead of the left to go to either FT's take a right. Parking is sometimes hell but its safer that armistead. Crabbing is good in the summer months, white perch and yellow perch (must release) is good all year. After is warms we have caught flounder, rock, blues, spot, croaker, and even redfish (last year) in the area. Some of the older anglers know where it is from the coast gaurd yard being is up river.
