The cats are biting. Caught 2 big cats with long casts using cut alewife. Then, decided to mess around and using a crappie slip float with a trout magnet hook with a piece of cut alewife on an ultralight. Tossed it out a few feet then caught one. Found a little pocket and caught a few more. Pics coming.
