I went to Kenilworth Park yesterday to get in a little practice. I've always found the park to be safe and a great place for casting but yesterday the park was closed.
A police officer told me two guys were argueing and when one got out of his car and approaced the others car that guy ran over him with his car and killed him. This all took place right in front of the playground where over 20 children were playing. This is normally a great family park and I will continue to cast there but like any place else we need to be careful and aware of our surroundings.

I've been using the park for three years without any problems. I feel for the victim's family and I hope is the last incident of its kind.

I agree with you. I was only reporting something of interest to those of us that use the park. It's a great place to cast or just visit. I wasn't planning to let one persons rage stop me from casting there. I go there 3-4 days a week and have never had any problem.

I heard on the news that the police are looking for a cream colored van with DC tags in connection with the hit and run.
