Anyone know a decent place to drop a yak in the water and be near striper hangouts?

I've done the boat drag at Chiks and wasn't impressed. Lesner? Rudee?

Gonna be in town for Turkey Day and want to bring the yak along and get a fish or two.

Why not launch at the foot of Fentress Ave. You can stop right at the edge of the water dump the boat and park a half of a block away. You are about 1/4 mile paddle to the bridge.

Lesner worx well.....

Park in the lot next to the Lesner and tote your ride down the dune to the inlet. When and if the Striper bite slows, try soaking some cut mullet on bucktails and casting Storm baits around the grassy islands for some Drum or Specks. Heck, I'd be there right now if I had a kayak....... Also, those pilings just outside the inlet should have some Rockfish around them on a good moving current. Try a 3-way around the bridge and HANG ON!!!!! Good Luck when you go. If you wanna know another good spot to try, send me a pm and I'll give you a tip........ Fish On
