I just picked up my first heaver yesterday. 
It is a Tica 11'6" with an Ambassadeur 7000 reel mounted on it. I was wondering if anyone would let me tag along on a fishing trip this weekend and maybe show me how to use it. I took it out to Sandbridge last night and caught a skate with it I am using a fishfinder rig with an 8 oz. weight on it. The 1st cast that I made on it, damn near took my arm off. Anyway, any offers would be appreciated. I live in V.B., so getting to places early this weekend is not a problem. Thanks and tight lines............
