i have been up every other weekend since may, just starting to pick up rain ? not a problem as long as no thunder bolts. i enjoy going there just for relaxation..

The constantly streaming traffic on the nearby bridge is what turns me off to the pier there.

I go there because it is close to my house. I am almost always going to get a croaker there. I was out there a few days ago caught a couple of croakers and a few small flaties. I do like the resturant at the end it is a bit pricey but it is good food.

yep its trafficed bound preety bad prolly pretty peaceful round dark though anyone cattch anything besides the norm [ croaker & spot ? ]

JRB Pier

The JRB pier overnight is great. Usually a decent bite and the traffic is very sparse. Spent many a night out there

Is it open 24 hours? any trout? I won't go on that pier when it's crowded, hot, noisy, but I would at night.

I'm supposed to go out with my father-in-law on his boat tomarrow, but I really need to work an extra day for $$$ I lost due to the rain.

Well, Iv'e already gone to greentop, so If pappa-in-law wants to cobe fish off bluefish rock, I'm game. If he just wants to goof around with the fly rods at the hrbt. I might just pass it up.

this rains really put a damper on me to got th work just cant get to do it ' i think im gon pack up and head to the rappahannock me my bud and my boat ! hope my lights still working
