Fished the south jetty today from around lunchtime till 5 on the outgoing. Worked the the inside from the beach to the end and threw everything in the box at them, but couldn't do any better than two reds late in the day near the bend. Both took a salt and pepper grub close to the rocks. May make one or two more treks if the weather holds and I think I'll call it a season. Thanks for all the tips and info posted here - it has been super helpful!

That's pretty good for this time of the year from shore. I never fished after November before I had a kayak. I have noticed that slot reds tend to be in schools. You find them, you will get a few!

My son was with me the whole time and had no bites at all, the two I caught were came from the same 100 ft stretch.

Since the weather is gonna be rotten this weekend I'm gonna go up to the boat show, maybe find something I like...
