Couldnt make it out in the boat today due to the high winds down here so made a quick trip to the causeway. Im pretty psyched about all the bait I saw down there, big and small. The small minnows were pushed up right tight to the wall and pelicans were crashing on them 30 feet out. After a couple casts a pig ladyfish eats my jig and goes airborne. Brother runs over and casts right over me and hooks up to an average sized spanish. Double header! After a quick release and a few more casts I hook into something tight to the bridge that peels some serious drag before biting off my only jig I brought. It seems like the wind always fires the fish up over there. Good luck out there fellers.
