Don't know Sand, my friends may like it, but "my baby" just might get a little jealous (you know how women can be :) ), nothing personal ladies, I'm married with two daughters, so I am an expert in learning about ya'll, and rule one is I am never right!

Waaaaay Back in 1974 I bought a CJ 5

I was 20 years old, and it was the perfect vehicle.

For the next 8 years it was My Mountain and Beach Toy.

We explored from Pennsylvania to Florida to Baja to Idaho to Alaska to Nova Scotia and back again.

I sure do miss it.

Or maybe I just miss being 20 something.

"I sure do miss it.

My first car was a Jeep CJ-7 that I bought in 1990. I drove it to the Outer Banks every chance I got and slept in the back (not easy when you're 6'2") so I could fish for several days.

I burned the engine up and eventually sold it for the frame a few years later.

It was a great ride but it was a soft top and my idiot friends in high school used to steal my doors and give them back to me a few days later...which wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't in February.
