Hey ya been awhile I been freshwater fishing and anyone been fishing pax/potomac river systems for yellows or whites? I know whites love grass shrimp and also found out the yellows like small live menhaden! But they Proble left town! From cold crash….
With temperatures back into high 60s how cold are our waters at moment? Could we see a early yellow perch spawn run? Because of these early 60s? Or we due for another cold crash!

proble going to check out wayson corner soon and see what happening over there but got catfish figure out by Allen’s fresh 231 bridge…. Need more catfish chicken liver bags!

Yellow perch are staging now in the first deep bend of creeks leading to the main stem of rivers. They are there and can be caught on falling tides until it bottoms out. Minnows are best.

Went Yellow Perch fishing on Monday, Jan.2 for the first time this year. The fishing was red hot! Caught this jumbo yellow perch as well as 37 more!
