Really getting sick of this cold weather as I'm sure you all are. Can't wait for some warmer weather. My question is for the guys who have fished the conowingo dam frequently. When does fishing start to get active up there? Is there some early action or more of a summertime thing. Got some gear over the holidays and I'm anxious to try it out. Thanks ahead of time!

I don't know if it is too early for fishing the dam area. But if it is, fish the Eastern Shore for yellow perch. The ice is gone and the perch are showing up. I even caught my first bass of the year yesterday. A 2 1/2 Lb. bass on a 4" Brown/chartruse rib worm on a 1/8 jig head. A lot of places to fish over here. Good Luck!

I've heard good things about fishing on the eastern shore but I'm not familiar with all it has to offer. Not to mention it's a bit of a drive for me. But maybe I'll get a chance to try it out.

And I know this has probably been covered before but what websites/apps do you use for fishing information? Especially water temps?
