Fished the surf a few times at Isle of Palms (more specifically on the Wild Dunes Resort). Caught plenty of rays, quite a few whiting, some black drum, a small pomp, a bluefish, two small sharks (one was 24"), a puppy drum and an 18" speckled trout. I used cut whiting as bait for the bigger stuff, and fresh shrimp for the smaller stuff.
