Do you need a license to fish there? Or does it depend on where you fish there?

DE License

No saltwater fishing license necessary..there is a fee for entrance into the state park..if you get there before the guard is there or after he is gone..you won't have to pay..good luck..try toggin if you want to catch some fish..last weekend saw a lot of shorts(of all species) and no breaking blues or stripers..tight lines to all! Murphman:)

Go for the jetty...

Fish the North Jetty during darkness hours. That's where the stripers are.

Toggin' is good too and has really picked up lately.

rock[stripers] can be caught just about anywhere at IRI.watch the groups, as they will be fishing for them too.you just have to try , and you will eventuallly get the knack. to long 9-12 ft rods are too big. the are bulky and heavy, and wear you down, if you roam the inlet as i do.

Be forwarned!

Fishing IRI consistently can grow on you! I would rather make the 2 hour trip to fish there than fish the bay... ;)

Can you fish the beach or would you be wasting your time?
