My son and I fished at S.Litchield the first week in June. On shrimp, sand flees, and finger mullet, got lots of small whiting and pin fish, some small blues, 1 ladyfish , 1 pompano (1lb+), 2 black drum (1lb+), several small sharpnose Sharks, and one very large sting ray my son landed after 55 minutes. Water was 80 degrees. Some nice flounder and spot tails were caught where Litchfield creek turns into Middle Inlet. We will be back in October.

Yes, there were small pods of fleas all along the beach.
