For those who don't know ICRBE is the largest rod building show in the world. It is going to be Feb 18 & 19 in Winston-Salem, NC. If you can make it, go. Even if you don't build rods it is still really cool and there are a lot of nice finished rods to buy there! Link to show page ===> Here

I am planning on going Saturday AM with the little man (Sharkbait aka Russell)

I am going to be looking at a new heaver, maybe a metal slinging rod and I would like to look at a couple of Tommy's reels. Anyone else planning on going? I know Tommy is going to be there, we have already talked.

Looks like they need to correct the dates for ticket sales. Expo is listed as Feb 18th & 19th, Sat & Sun. Ticket sales are listed as Feb 20th & 21st, Sat & Sun. At least that's how I read the dates in that link just before posting my reply.

LOL I didn't see that. Sat is the 18th and Sun the 19th so I am guessing those are the correct dates

The 18th & 19th are correct. The 20th & 21st were last year dates. Guess Tom forgot to change the date. I will be there both days. I want to catch Ryan White seminar on building surf rods.

Wish I could attend. If they have an Anglers Resource (Fuji USA Distributor) booth, check out the Point Blank rods. They are superlight and strong.

Well, for my first post on the forum, this is as good a place to start, as any.
I'll be there on Saturday, looking for a couple of blanks and some hardware.
It'll be my frst time at ICRBE and, hopefully, parking won't be a big problem ?

No parking is really easy. There are a couple decks very close to the event space and they are very easy walking distance.
