I saw a few caught at the pier on Sat, but no solid numbers. The full moon is on, and these tides should bring the bite on big time. This week it should break wide open and last into june.

When you guys say the pier, do you mean Meteapeake? I have been dying for the trout to come in already! Are they hitting lures yet, or just squid and chicken?

Matapeake is good during the fall, but they ain't there yet. We're talking about Cape Henlopen Fishing Pier in Lewes,Deleware.I've been fishing there for the last cupple of weeks looking for the Weakies;but have only seen Bluefish, and Flounder(Fluke). They catch these Weakfish on Jigs, live Peelers, and Chicken(Purdue Peeler).
