Hot weather fish kill.

Some of you might find this interesting. I think it might tie in with all the dead rock fish people are seeing all over the bay. My Daughter lives near Smithville Lake on the eastern Shore. I also live close to the lake. She just called me and told me there is a lot of dead fish floating on the lake. I ask her to take a picture and send to me. That has to be from the hot weather. Smithville Lake is a pretty clean lake. I am not a bit worried about hot weather fish kills. It happens for a reason. Been happening for ever. Won't kill them all. The strong ones will make it. That's how I see it. How about you all?

Woooow I knew it happened in freshwater would never imagined saltwater or brackish new news to me
Yes the guys fishing in boats are seeing hundreds of dead floating rock fish out on the bay. I see no problem fishing the rivers in shallow water. In fact, I will be leaving the house at 4:30 AM to fish for white perch and maybe a by catch rock fish off the pier and shore. Should be done fishing by 9 or 10 AM. before it gets too hot.
