Headed down to fish at Holden Beach this Saturday (6-18) and was just wondering if anybody was catching anything down that way. Thanks

Hey Boomer,

It was the normal blacktip blitz when I got out last, with some short flounder, whiting, etc. I think the water was still too fresh at the east end a couple of days after a ton of rain. A couple of fellas reported good Spot, Black Drum, and Blues mid-island before the storms. Good luck and please post a report.

It was WINDY on Saturday. Wind was blowing from the east , straight down Holden Beach and fishing was tough. We ended up catching a few small blues, small whiting , croakers, and some sand sharks. Even though fishing was tough we had a good time.

Yes it was a fun trip, probably headed back down in 2 weeks to try again.
