Has anyone tried this stuff on a poly yak? One review I read saif that it was the only thing that they new of that would stick to plastic kayaks, but I'm a little doubtfull. Seems like it would be a great thing to carry for an emergency repair...

I suppose it would work...In the ad they mentioned working with a "clean, dry surface", and so there are lots of things that would stick to poly/plastic long enough for you to get back to dry land...For a more permanent repair, fiberblass repair kits would fit the bill nicely, you'd just have to rough up the surface pretty good and clean it with alcohol or acetone (in the repair area only) to get a good bond.
